Heavy Hammer Sound

Heavy Hammer participated in a historic clash at Summerjam Festival in Cologne, Germany – the first ever clash held at the festival. The event, titled “Anything Can Happen,” had no rules, no votes, no winner, and no trophy. Just three sounds – Heavy Hammer, Code Red (Jamaica) and Warrior Sound (Germany) – giving it their all. Heavy Hammer received massive forwards and left a huge impression on the Summerjam audience.

Kings of the Earth Soundclash 2024 Champion!

Heavy Hammer won the ‘Kings of the Earth’ sound clash in California at Reggae on the river 2024 Festival in Humboldt county – California.
The clash featured Dynamq and Renaissance. After a spectacular performance, Heavy Hammer locked off both sounds 4–0, without needing to go ‘tune fi tune’.

Godspeed Riddim (Heavy Hammer – Bonnot)

We celebrate the release of the complete “Godspeed Riddim” by adding three new singles to the track list: Derajah’s “To Mom with Love,” Rekall’s “The Wicked Shall Fall,” and Charly B’s “Every Nation.” Produced by Walter “Bonnot” Buonanno and Heavy Hammer, the “Godspeed Riddim” marks the first collaboration between the multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and producer and the internationally acclaimed sound system.

Following the well-received singles “Forward to Africa” by Anthony B, “A Place for Me” by Gappy Ranks, and “African Crown” by Kumar, the production has been enriched with new contributions: Jamaican artist Derajah’s heartfelt mama song, Austrian singer Rekall’s track against Babylon, and French reggae and dancehall singjay Charly B’s chant for universal love.

Bonnot is an Italian multi-award-winning musician, producer, and DJ. He is a member of the old- school hip-hop band Assalti Frontali and is also part of the project titled ‘All Power 2 the People’ with M1 from Dead Prez.

Heavy Hammer is a sound system founded in Italy over twenty years ago. Internationally renowned for its extensive dubplate collection and solid dubplate agency, the crew is actively engaged in DJ sets, sound clashes, and event production.
